Losing weight must be difficult. If it wasn’t there wouldn’t be a huge diet industry pandering to the desires of overweight individuals who desperately need some help. But is it possible that losing weight is difficult only because you have been convinced that is. Convinced by all the overweight people who tell you how hard it is; tell you about the cravings; tell you about the battle; tell you about the giving in; the bingeing; and the shame-faced starting all over again. Convinced by a diet industry that promises to make it easy for you (the subtext being that it must, therefore, be difficult). This is all just social programming.
